Melody Mitchell, LAc
Melody graduated with her masters in Chinese medicine from The Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, where she studied acupuncture, herbal medicine, Shiatsu, and Qigong. During her master’s program she interned at the OCOM clinic, as well as at Outside In and Oldtown Clinic in Portland, OR. In addition, she has interned with practitioners who specialize in women’s health and fertility. She is currently working on her doctorate in acupuncture and Chinese medicine.
Melody enjoys providing patients with thorough, individualized, compassionate and comprehensive care throughout the lifespan. Her goal is for each patient to feel heard, honored, and cared for. She seeks to help people understand why discomfort, illness or disease manifest in their lives and how to heal in a holistic way. Melody is passionate about empowering patients to embrace their bodies and to find healing within. She supports individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and identities.
When she is not spending time with patients she enjoys hanging out with her son and their cat Storm.
Melody is currently in-network with CareOregon, Regence BCBS, Providence, PacificSource, American Specialty Health, Cigna, Aetna, and UnitedHealthcare. She accepts Workers Compensation Claims and Motor Vehicle Accidents.
